Nika Reflection Colors Application Guide
Materials Required:
- Reflection color cream
- Activator (oxidant) 20 vol. or 30/40 vol. for super lighteners
- Mixing bowl
- Application brush
- Protective gloves
- Timer
- Towels
- Shampoo and conditioner for colored hair
Preparation:
- Choose the desired Reflection shade based on the 4 fundamental rules to identify and determine the natural tone height, desired reflection, and activator volume.
- Mix the color cream with the activator in a bowl, following a 1:1 dilution ratio, unless specified otherwise (e.g., for toners, 1:1 with 5 or 10 vol. oxidant).
- Wear protective gloves.
Application:
- Apply the product to dry, unwashed hair, starting from the roots and proceeding to the lengths and ends.
- Use sectioning techniques to ensure even coverage.
- For permanent coloring, leave on for the recommended time. Adjust the processing time and activator mixing according to the grey coverage guide.
- For toners, leave on for 20 minutes. For pre-pigmentation, 20 minutes, and for re-pigmentation, 15/20 minutes.
Finishing:
- After the processing time, emulsify the product with a little warm water, gently massaging.
- Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
- Wash hair with a shampoo designed for colored hair.
- Apply a conditioner or mask to moisturize and seal the color.

- Reflection Color base
- Precision scale
- Non-metallic mixing bowl
- Application brush
- Disposable gloves
- Timer
Preparation:
- Wear protective gloves.
- Calculate the necessary amount of Pure Pigments based on the desired Reflection Color tone height using the "rule of 13". Subtract the chosen tone height from 13 to determine the milliliters of Pure Pigments required.
- In a non-metallic bowl, thoroughly mix the Pure Pigments with the Reflection Color base until the mixture is homogeneous.
Application:
- Divide the hair into sections to ensure an even application.
- Using a brush, apply the mixture starting from the roots and working towards the ends.
