Nika Grace Colors Pre & Repigmentation Guide
Materials Needed:
- Protective gloves
- Grace Color cream by Nika
- Activator 10 vol (3%)
- Mixing bowl and brush
- Timer
- Shampoo and conditioner for colored hair
Preparation:
- Wear protective gloves to avoid staining your hands.
- In a mixing bowl, combine Grace Color cream with Activator in a 1:1.5 ratio. For every 60 ml of Grace Color cream, mix in 90 ml of Activator.
- Stir the mixture until it achieves a uniform consistency.
Application for Pre-Pigmentation:
- Apply the mix to dry, unwashed hair starting from the areas that are most faded or have lost most color.
- Use a brush for precise application, ensuring all strands are evenly coated.
- Allow the color to develop for 20 minutes for optimal pre-pigmentation effect.
Application for Re-Pigmentation:
- Follow the same steps as pre-pigmentation, applying evenly across all hair.
- For re-pigmentation, focus on areas previously lightened or where color has faded significantly, leave the product in for 15-20 minutes.
Finishing:
- After the development time, emulsify the product by adding a small amount of water and gently massaging the hair and scalp.
- Rinse the hair thoroughly until the water runs clear.
- Wash the hair with a shampoo suitable for colored hair, then apply a conditioner, leaving it on for a few minutes to add moisture and shine back into the hair.
Post-Treatment Tips:
- Avoid washing your hair for at least 48 hours after the treatment to allow the color to set.
- Use color-safe shampoo and conditioner to maintain the vibrancy of the color.
- Regularly use a hair mask or deep conditioning treatment to keep hair healthy and prevent color fade.
