ECOVEXX for Keratin Straighteners Application Guide
Materials Needed:
- Code Zero Ecovexx Xsence N°1
- Keratin straightening cream
- Mixing bowl and application brush
- Gloves and timer
- Code Zero Xsaver N°2 for post-treatment
- Flexion (L) brush by cliCHair
- Shampoo and conditioner suitable for keratin-treated hair
Preparation:
- Start by shampooing the hair with a clarifying shampoo to remove any residues and open the hair cuticles.
- Mix 1 ml of Ecovexx Xsence N°1 with every 10 ml of keratin straightening cream in the mixing bowl.
- Ensure the client's hair is towel-dried but still slightly damp before application.
Application:
- Divide the hair into sections and apply the keratin mixture evenly with the application brush, starting from the roots to the ends, but avoid applying directly to the scalp.
- Comb through each section with a fine-toothed comb to ensure even distribution.
- Allow the product to sit on the hair for the recommended time, typically around 20-30 minutes, depending on the hair's condition and the manufacturer's instructions.
Finishing:
- After the processing time, lightly rinse the hair with warm water, removing any excess product without completely washing it out.
- Apply Code Zero Xsaver N°2, leaving it on for at least 5 minutes to lock in the keratin.
- Rinse the hair again and blow-dry using a round brush to smooth out the hair.
- Use a flat iron at the recommended temperature to seal in the keratin treatment.
- Detangle and give the final touch with the Flexion (L) brush for a sleek finish.
Post-Treatment Advice:
- Recommend not washing the hair or tying it up for at least 48 hours to allow the keratin to set properly.
- Suggest using sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to extend the life of the treatment.
- Advise minimal use of heat styling tools to maintain hair health.
