ECOVEXX for Chemical Straighteners Application Guide
Materials Needed:
- Code Zero Ecovexx Xsence N°1
- Chemical straightening cream
- Mixing bowl
- Measuring cup
- Application brush
- Gloves
- Timer
- Code Zero Xsaver N°2
- Flexion (L) brush for finishing
- Neutralizing solution
- Shampoo and conditioner
Preparation:
- Mix 10 ml of Ecovexx Xsence N°1 with every 50 ml of chemical straightening cream using the measuring cup.
- Stir the mixture until it's smooth and homogenous.
Application:
- Apply the mixture evenly to the hair, section by section, starting from the nape and moving towards the forehead.
- Ensure that the product is evenly distributed and that every strand is coated.
- Leave the mixture on the hair for the recommended time according to the hair texture and condition, typically around 20 minutes, but always refer to the straightening cream instructions.
Finishing:
- Rinse the hair thoroughly with lukewarm water until all the product is removed.
- Apply the neutralizing solution as per the instructions to halt the straightening process.
- Once the neutralization is complete, rinse again with lukewarm water.
- Shampoo and condition the hair.
- Gently detangle the hair with the Flexion (L) brush, ensuring smoothness and preventing any stress on the freshly straightened hair.
Post-Treatment Advice:
- Advise clients to avoid washing the hair for at least 48 hours to ensure the longevity of the straightening effect.
- Recommend a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner for maintenance, such as the Code Zero Focus range.
