Nika Reflection Colors Application Guide

Materials Required:

  • Reflection color cream
  • Activator (oxidant) 20 vol. or 30/40 vol. for super lighteners
  • Mixing bowl
  • Application brush
  • Protective gloves
  • Timer
  • Towels
  • Shampoo and conditioner for colored hair

  • Choose the desired Reflection shade based on the 4 fundamental rules to identify and determine the natural tone height, desired reflection, and activator volume.
  • Mix the color cream with the activator in a bowl, following a 1:1 dilution ratio, unless specified otherwise (e.g., for toners, 1:1 with 5 or 10 vol. oxidant).
  • Wear protective gloves.

  • Apply the product to dry, unwashed hair, starting from the roots and proceeding to the lengths and ends.
  • Use sectioning techniques to ensure even coverage.
  • For permanent coloring, leave on for the recommended time. Adjust the processing time and activator mixing according to the grey coverage guide.
  • For toners, leave on for 20 minutes. For pre-pigmentation, 20 minutes, and for re-pigmentation, 15/20 minutes.

  • After the processing time, emulsify the product with a little warm water, gently massaging.
  • Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
  • Wash hair with a shampoo designed for colored hair.
  • Apply a conditioner or mask to moisturize and seal the color.

Post-Treatment Tips:

  • Avoid frequent washing to keep the color vibrant longer.
  • Use products specifically designed for colored hair to protect the color and keep the hair hydrated.
  • Avoid prolonged sun exposure without hair protection.
  • Schedule regular touch-ups, based on hair growth and color fading, to maintain intensity and coverage.
