Nika Mousse Application Guide

Materials Needed:

  • Control Mousse NIKA
  • Defining Mousse NIKA
  • Wide-tooth comb
  • Towel
  • Hair dryer with diffuser (optional)
  • Hair clips to section the hair

Preparation:

  1. Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner suitable for your hair type.
  2. Gently towel dry your hair to remove excess moisture.
  3. Comb through your hair with a wide-tooth comb to detangle without breaking the hair.
  4. Shake the Control Mousse or Defining Mousse well before use, depending on the desired result.

Application:

  1. For volume and control: If you're looking for voluminous hair and maximum control, apply a small amount of Control Mousse to damp hair, distributing it evenly from roots to tips. Focus on the roots to enhance volume.

    For curl definition: If your goal is to define curls or waves, use Defining Mousse. Apply a similar amount to damp hair, concentrating on the lengths and ends to better define curls without weighing them down.

  2. Divide the hair into sections using clips to make the application easier.
  3. Gently massage the product into each section to ensure even distribution.

  4. Control Mousse: Let your hair air dry for a natural finish or use a hair dryer with a diffuser for extra volume and hold.

    Defining Mousse: Let your hair air dry or use a diffuser to enhance curl definition.

Finishing:

  1. No need to rinse the mousse after application.
  2. Style your hair with your hands or a comb to achieve the desired look.
  3. If you want a more structured finish, you can use additional styling products from the NIKA Styling Secret line, such as wax or hairspray.

Post-Treatment Tips:

  • For volume and control: After applying Control Mousse, avoid touching your hair too much to maintain the volume.
  • For defined curls: After applying Defining Mousse, use an anti-frizz serum or cream to keep your curls defined and shiny.
