ECOVEXX for Perms Application Guide
Materials Needed:
- Perm lotion suitable for the client's hair type
- Ecovexx Xsence N°1
- Neutralizer
- Perm rods of desired size
- Plastic cap
- Timer
- Gloves
- Code Zero Xsaver N°2
- Flexion (L) brush by cliCHair
- Shampoo and conditioner
Preparation:
- Perform a strand test to determine the necessary processing time for the perm lotion.
- Wash the hair with a gentle shampoo to ensure it's clean and free of residues.
- Towel dry the hair to remove excess moisture.
- Apply 25-30 ml of Ecovexx Xsence N°1 evenly throughout the hair, depending on the length, to prepare it for the perm process.
Application:
- Section the hair for easy management and begin wrapping sections around perm rods, starting from the nape of the neck moving upwards.
- After wrapping, apply the perm lotion thoroughly over the rods, ensuring even coverage.
- Cover with a plastic cap to enhance processing.
- Leave the perm lotion on as determined by the earlier strand test.
Finishing:
- Gently remove the plastic cap and rinse the hair with warm water for at least 5 minutes without removing the rods, ensuring all perm lotion is washed out.
- Apply the neutralizer to each rod, adhering to the time specified by the product.
- Carefully remove the perm rods and apply the neutralizer again if required by the product instructions, then rinse thoroughly.
- Apply Code Zero Xsaver N°2 to nourish and stabilize the hair, leave for 5 minutes, then rinse.
Post-Treatment Advice:
- Advise against washing or heat styling the hair for 48 hours after the perm to allow the curls to set properly.
- Suggest using sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to maintain the curls and hydration.
- Recommend gentle detangling and styling with the Flexion (L) brush to preserve the curls' integrity.
